Too Darn Hot é uma música feita pelo Cole Porter para o musical Kiss Me, Kate, de 1948. Em 1953 faz-se uma versão cinematográfica desse musical, onde a música é cantada e dançada por Ann Miller (ver vídeo abaixo).
No filme, a parte da letra "According to Kinsey Report" foi mudada para "According To the latest report", pois a letra original foi censurada. E porque foi censurada?, perguntam os amados leitores. Porque o Kinsey Reports são dois livros sobre o comportamento sexual humano (mais info aqui).
Em 1956, Ella Fitzgerald faz uma versão da música, para o seu álbum Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Cole Porter Songbook (ver vídeo abaixo).
Stacey Kent também fez uma cover da música, no ano da graça de 2003, para o seu álbum The Boy Next Door (ver vídeo abaixo). Por curiosidade, foi a primeira versão da música que ouvi - e posso dizer que fiquei perdida de amores.
